Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are parents again
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend gave their fans another baby surprise.
The couple announced on Instagram that they have recently welcomed a baby boy via surrogate revealing his name to be Wren Alexander.
The cookbook author, 37, shared a lengthy post where she shared some snaps of the newborn. There she revealed that the duo pursued surrogacy as an option in 2021.
The model and Legend, 44, then found their perfect match surrogate named Alexandra, who is the inspiration behind their new son’s middle name.
Gushing about how happy she was to meet the surrogate, Chrissy said,
“All our wishes and dreams aligned,”
“I wanted to be her friend, I wanted our children to play, I wanted dinner together, I wanted to lay my head on her belly and be able to feel the hiccups and kicks. I wanted them to be in our lives.”
While the couple’s first embryo transfer was a failure, they were “overjoyed to learn Alexandra had become pregnant with a little boy.” Chrissy herself was pregnant with Esti at the time.
The new mommy announced that Wren arrived on June 19 just before midnight.
Now, Chrissy and the Grammy winner are already parents to three, with their baby girl Ester joining them just five months ago.

The lovebirds also share daughter Luna, 7, and son Miles, 5 who arrived in April 2016 and May 2018, respectively.
While the model was thrilled to announce her third pregnancy in August 2020, she had to go through a life-saving abortion the next month due to a partial placenta abruption.
The grieving mother then shared some intimate hospital snaps of her late son Jack on Instagram.
She captioned the emotional September 2022 upload,
“We never decide on our babies’ names until … just before we leave the hospital,”
“But we, for some reason, had started to call this little guy in my belly Jack. So he will always be Jack to us.”
The Cravings author has been open about her grief journey and revealed in February 2022 that she was undergoing IVF.
In August of that same year, she announced her pregnancy and wrote,
”1 billion shots later … we have another on the way,”
“I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves. But so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I’m feeling hopeful and amazing.”
After Esti’s birth on January 13, the All of Me singer praised his wife’s strength and resilience.
John and Chrissy married in September 2013.
