- The world-famous fashion house slammed the adult star for using Dior in her name.
- Now CD Couture has slapped Gigi with a trademark suit.
Christian Dior does not want adult stars to ruin their name
Christian Dior, one of fashion’s biggest names is not having it with porn star Gigi Dior. She is an adult star who is famous for adult movies and hot MILFs and it was only last year she trademarked her stage name.
Now, Dior has filed a legal claim asking Gigi to overturn the trademark saying she is threatening and damaging their name and business.
In response to the lawsuit, the porn star told a publication:
“This is ridiculous, my name has nothing to do with couture and — the funny part is — what I do usually involves wearing no clothes at all,”
Last year, the 40-year-old adult actress applied to trademark Gigi Dior. And on September 20, 22, it was approved.
Gigi uses her name everywhere from her personal website to her OnlyFans account, and also her webcam work and all social media accounts.
But Dior, which has remained at the top of fashion’s hierarchy for over 70 years writes in the filing:
“All goods and services … are opposed, namely: Entertainment services … personal appearances by a porn star … providing a web site featuring non-downloadable adult-themed photographs and videos.”
Stating its grounds for opposing Gigi’s trademark, the French fashion house included “Priority and likelihood of confusion, dilution by blurring and dilution by tarnishment.”
Gigi has played her part in seven porn flicks, and also many online videos including Horny Hiking. Apart from doing Webcamming, Gigi also was nominated for Milf of the Year by the Cam Awards.

Gigi is a former model and actress from NYC
Gigi told a publication:
“I trademarked my stage name for entertainment and modeling purposes, I had to show proof of what I was using the name for, so I used appearances at exotica, and a website for confirmation … My request was granted,”
She continued:
“A couple of weeks ago, on Oct. 18, I received notice from Christian Dior Couture that they were appealing my trademark approval and they claim that the name Dior is being diluted and that I am diluting their products.”
The adult star has time until November 17 to present a written response to the iconic brand’s appeal. Otherwise, her trademark will be overturned.
Gigi, who is just two years old in the industry said that the reason why she chose Dior in her name was to protect others from damaging her brand.
She was a former New York model and actress. She is a single mom who has four kids under the age of 12. Talking about the trademark, she added:
“If I lose my name, I have built a brand around this name, it has become me and my reputation, so it’s really devastating to think I might have to start from scratch and rebrand everything.”
She further expressed her sadness and concluded:
“I have thousands and thousands of T-shirts, signs and photographs. I have retained websites, all of my social media. I’d have to start again, it’s going to be a huge undertaking if I lose this name.
“I’m devastated, and it is ridiculous.”
