During the year, he also appeared as a composer in the children’s film, Der Untergang der Emma.

Furthermore, he also worked as a composer for films and television productions like Life is a Construction Site, Children’s Games, Migratory Birds Once to Inari, Polizeiruf 110, Tatort, and more. In 1993, he started working as a lecturer for presentation, drama, and speech training at the “Hanns Eisler” University of Music in Berlin and since 2005 at the Berlin Jazz Institute.

Similarly, Christian Steyer founded the StudentenJazzChor in Berlin in 1999 and since then has regularly performed the old Christmas carol cycle.
