Followed Grandmother’s path

Cole Sprouse is popular as a TV and a film actor. He is often seen with his twin brother, Dylan. Both twin brothers are known for acting since early childhood.

He was born on August 4, 1992, in Arezzo, Tuscany, Italy, which makes him 26 years at present time. Cole was born a quarter of an hour after his brother Dylan in a hospital named, Clinica Tanganelli located in Italy.

Born to parents Matthew Sprouse (father) and Melanie Wright (mother), both worked as English teachers in Italy. Furthermore, he has a mixed type of background i.e. English, Scottish, Danish, and German.

At the young age of 4 months, they moved to the U.S where he grew up in Southern California. His name was derived from Nat King Cole who is a jazz singer and pianist.

His grandmother was an actress and drama teacher. Cole and Dylan soon followed their grandmother with a successful acting career. Cole attended Gallatin School of Individualized Study where he studied archaeology and humanities.

Walking away from Stardom

Both brothers were featured in commercials for diapers when they were of 8 months. Cole noticed his childhood entry into acting resulted in his family’s need for money.

Although both the brothers earned $40,000 per episode combined while working Suite Life success (an American sitcom).

However, they both had to walk away from stardom and the Disney Channel because of disputes about creative control. After leaving Disney, Cole studied archaeology, geographic information systems, and satellite imaging at New York University.

Cole took a job as an archaeological assistant in an artifact laboratory in Brooklyn. Sprouse and his brother graduated in May 2015.

He shares,

“I anticipated we would go to college and then we would fade out, that was kind of what we wanted at the time, but social media hung onto my brother and I, and thankfully fans hung onto my brother and I, and I think it’s one of the reasons that this reemergence can come back with a little more strength, and I’m very thankful for that.”

Photographer as another talent

Sprouse is also a talented photographer. Furthermore, he photographed magazine covers and fashion shoots, with his work appearing in publications like The Sunday Times and L’Uomo Vogue.

He photographed Kendall Jenner (model), Sophie Turner (actress), Sam Smith (singer), etc. Sharing about his passion he says,

“I’ve been dabbling with the notion that if and when photography takes a more prevalent role in my life, I will likely never return to acting.”

Acting career

Cole and Dylan landed their role as Patrick Kelly in the TV series, “Grace Under Fire”. In this series, they worked from the year 1993 to 1998. They also got featured in “Mad TV” (American comedy series) in 1998. The twin brothers came up with their debut movie in the year 1999 named “Big Daddy” (Drama/Comedy).

The same year, they appeared in another movie named “The Astronomer’s Wife”. Their work in “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody” (American sitcom) where they portrayed Cody Martin and Zack Martin is taken as their major work in TV.

Furthermore, Cole’s work in “Riverdale” (American drama series) portraying Jughead Jones comes under his other major work.

Cole Sprouse’s personal life

Cole was in a relationship with Alyson Stoner back in 2004. The following year, he was seen dating Katelyn Pippy. He has also been with Victoria Justice (an American actress, model, and singer) from 2004 to 2005.

Bree Morgan, they have been together from 2013 to 2015. Cole was in a relationship with Lili Reinhart (an American actress) back in 2016. They worked together in Riverdale (American drama series).
