Who is Fenna Grace Kootstra?

Fenna Grace Kootstra is the newborn baby of Canadian Comedian Katherine Ryan and her husband Bobby Kootstra. She was born on December 16, 2022, at 12:05 am which the couple revealed via their Instagram account.

Posting pictures after the natural home birth of Katherine holding their newborn daughter on Instagram he wrote,

“Fenna Grace Kootstra Dec 16, at 12:05am. Mom is incredible! Proving her strength repeatedly through the relatively lengthy delivery at home. We are so blessed:)”.

In the shared photo on Instagram, Katherine seem exhausted after the delivery. She was seen resting over an inflatable pool at her home in the second photo as she held onto a gas and air pump mid-labor.

With the baby girl’s arrival, the parents together are parents to 2. Their firstborn being son Fred arrived in June 2021. Aside from this, Katherine is also the mother to a 12-year-old daughter from a previous relationship. She, her partner, and her three kids are now living happily in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire.

Katherine also posted a sweet photo, following the home birth and marking the baby’s arrival. She announced her third pregnancy back in July 2022 on her podcast Katherine Ryan: Telling Everybody Everything.

Congratulations are in the order for Katherine Ryan

Famous friends of the Canadian Comedian Katherine Ryan congratulated the star on welcoming baby no.3 Fenna. The Inbetweeners actress Emily Atack who played Charlotte Hinchcliffe on the E4 comedy series wrote:

“Congratulations lovely people!!!!!”.

Roisin Conaty also wished her friend another baby girl and showed her interest in meeting the mother-daughter duo, commenting,

“Oh my darlings what a beautiful baby huge congratulations to you both can’t wait to meet her”.

Earlier to this baby’s arrival news, Katherine had revealed how she felt after being a single mom in the UK. She also used the word shame to the Glamour adding,

“To do what I do, you have to be shameless, and when I came to this country, I was a very young single mother, very vulnerable, and was miles away from anyone who loved me. I did feel shame about that – the narrative was I was damaged goods.”

She also later disclosed how she emerged to be a proud single mom and start enjoying parenthood alone.

“Soon I started feeling good about myself and enjoying the privilege that it was to have that time with my daughter and be a single mother to my daughter. It was then wonderful things started coming into my life.”

Who is Katherine Ryan’s Husband?

Bobby Kootstra is Katherine Ryan’s not-so-famous husband. She reunited with her teenage beau/ crush after she moved to the UK. They met out of nowhere on a work trip back to her home country and years later they made their love successful by marrying in 2019.

Before she got hitched to Bobby, she had dated British actor and TV presenter Jeff Leach and also had a romantic encounter with American comedian Alex Edelman.
