The tenth son of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar‘s nineteen children, Jedidiah Duggar is expecting his second child with his wife Katey Nakatsu.

The couple spilled their big news in Youtube video captioning,

“We have been keeping a big secret from our friends and family for the past couple of months. We are excited to share the announcement of baby #2 due in May [2023]!”

The couple shared a 13-minute video revolving around their joy of expanding their family to 4. It was from their Christmas party celebration.

Jedidiah Duggar, 23, and Nakatsu, 24 were loving the moments they shared on-screen announcing their big news to their subscribers and viewers. Pointing towards Katey’s sweatshirt which read Joy to the world. Oh, and I’m pregnant Jed then told,

“We have some news. Big news. This is the news guys.”

The parents-to-be then went on to share their throwback footage from a day after the pilot told her husband that she took two pregnancy tests before the test result came positive.

As Katey was confused by the faint line in her first pregnancy kit she again tested for a clear indication of her pregnancy. The Counting On star Jed then asked his father Jim Bob Duggar to read his wife’s sweatshirt while father-in-law Jim was laughing over the news and asking,

“Seriously? You are?”

Jedidiah’s mom, Michelle also had a similar response to her husband Jim. Meanwhile, she reread the Nakatsu’s sweatshirt and embraced her daughter-in-law told,

“Oh, you’re pregnant. You’re pregnant! What a wonderful Christmas.”

However, the reality star and his wife were criticized during their first pregnancy. They faced backlash for mocking COVID-19 amid the pandemic as they announced the pregnancy. As the duo were kissing Katey held a sign,

“And then there were 3. Baby Duggar. Spring ’22.”
