Olympic gold medalist Ryan Lochte and his wife Kayla’s family is growing again

Congratulations are in order to Ryan Lochte and his wife Kayla who are expecting their third child together.

The 12-time Olympic medal winner, 38, and his wife, 31, announced the baby news via social media.

The family clip showed the couple on the beach, alongside their two adorable kids running up and down the breathtaking location.

Both of their previous children Liv Rae, 3, and Caiden Zane, 4, were born in June.

Ryan and Kayla kissed and held each other tightly as they held each other tightly while flashing their beautiful smiles.

As the camera gets closer, the mom-to-be can be seen embracing her bump in a flowy blue dress, as she holds her hubby closer.

The mom of two captioned the clip:

‘Lochte baby #3 on the way, in June again of course![winking and tongue out emoji face],’

The duo first met back in 2016 and theirs is a very modern love story. Kayla slid into the swimmer’s DM on Instagram.

In 2018, Ryan told People magazine:

‘She was living in L.A. at the time and I was in Charlotte, North Carolina,’
‘I went to L.A. for training and was going out to a club. She was going out to the same club with her girlfriend.’

The couple then went on a date, hung out at a club, and met up for a drink on a second date. It was then they both knew that they’s found the one.

The Gold winner added:

‘We talked for eight to 10 hours about everything and honestly the next day we started dating,’
‘We just talked about what we want in life … our goals, family, everything. I think right after that I was just like, “She’s the one.”‘

Kayla and Ryan always wanted a big family of their own

The lovebirds tied the knot in a romantic ceremony in Palm Springs in 2018, a year after welcoming their first child.

Kayla’s Instagram biography shows she works as a realtor.

Lochte in 2021 revealed that both his children love swimming just like him.

He said at the time:

“It’s hard juggling because I want to be the best dad,”

“After I’m done with practice, I can’t go home and take a nap.”

The doting dad continued:

“I have to be ‘Super Dad’ when I get home,”
“A lot of my competitors do recovery and stuff like that, but I’m limited because my most important thing is being a dad.”

Kayla always loved having a big family and in the 2020 documentary, In Deep with Ryan Lochte, she said:

“We’re probably going to have a third baby, maybe four,”
”I’m like, ‘All right, I guess so. You’re the mom.'”
