DC Young Fly remembers his late partner Jacky Oh on the new comedy special ’85 South Ghetto Legends’

DC Young Fly paid tribute to the late partner Jacky Oh
DC Young Fly dedicated the recent episode of his new comedy special, 85 South Ghetto Legends, to his late partner, Ms. Jacky Oh.
As we all know that Jacky Oh is no longer alive among us. She passed away at the young age of 33 on May 31, 2023. Jacky was found unresponsive in a Miami hotel, according to the Miami Police Department’s Public Information Officer.
However, the cause of her death is yet to be disclosed.

She has by three kids; two daughters Nova and Nala, and a son Prince, who she shared with the rapper DC.
On June 10, her memorial service was held and DC Young Fly posted the footage from the day, captioning,
“Sent you off the right way mamalove u forever. the kids gon be str8 and you kno GOD got us.”
A family photo is displayed at the end of the Netflix special on June 20 with the words “In dedication & loving memory of Jacklyn ‘Jacky Oh’ Smith” placed next to the image.
Dc Young Fly had previously expressed his grief on Jacky’s passing
On June 8, he shared a series of throwback pictures of the beauty entrepreneur alongside him and their kids for the first time following her death.
Along with the photographs, he wrote a lengthy message praising her as the “greatest mother”.
He began,
“I wasn’t in no rush to post this because I wanted it to be a dream so bad but every hour I’m reminded of realty so I wanna make sure I applaud you in the proper manner. You are the GREATEST MOTHER I KNOW your soul was beautiful Yu always wanted the best for others and I admired how our family love each other!!!”
The comedian and actor continued by assuring his late saying “you were on top of Dat!!!”.
He also discussed their belief in God, stating,
“You know we GOD fearing and we are grounded by the spirit. we never question the HIGHER POWER we roll wit the punches and continue to live righteous will always tell our kids how much an amazing person you were especially a GREAT MOTHER!!! You know how our last convo went I prayed for Yu and now we are here.. but it’s ok we willll continue to pray and hold on to our FAITH because that’s alll we know!!”
He goes on to praise their children for their strength and says that she will always hold a special place in his heart and in paradise.
Following that, he shared several posts in memory of her including his most recent one, which featured an Instagram carousel with the caption, “Rest Well Baby.”
He also added hashtags #GODGotUs, #GainedAnotherAngel, and #TakeItADayAtATime.
