Happy Birthday!
He started making rhythms and beats when he was in the seventh grade. His recognition came after he joined the Atlanta hip-hop scene with Migos. Versace was the lead hit of ‘Migos’ in 2013.
Their biggest victory was their studio album with a similar name namely ‘Victory. Their efforts gained an appreciation and soon they had the privilege to be invited to the 2017 Met Gala to present and perform in front of the elite gathering. Takeoff is currently on a tour with his group promoting their new project.
Takeoff has also gone solo and released his debut singles. His other teammates have also recorded solos and hence speculation was rife that the team would break up. However, Migos group members have denied any such potential happening in the near future.
Caught in bed with an unknown female!
Rapper Takeoff was recently heavily drunk and in that inebriated state, it seems, that he went and fell asleep beside a young lady. Having realized that it was Takeoff sleeping on her bed, the female immediately took his photographs and posted them online.
Once the pictures went online, they also went viral. Viewers on social media gave a mixed reaction. Some of them who received the photos even questioned the sex of the lady who had posted the pictures.
They queried whether the person seen with Takeoff was a transgender female due to her looks. Some even termed the whole issue as irrelevant.
What is Migos?
Migos is an American hip-hop group formed in 2009 in Lawrenceville, Georgia. It comprises of three rappers, who took the stage names of Takeoff, Quavo, and Offset.
Their actual names are Quavious Keyate Marshall (Quavo), Kirshnik Khari Ball (Takeoff), and Kiari Kendrell Cephus (Offset). The three members of Migos are actually blood relatives and related to each other. Quavo is his uncle of Takeoff and Offset is his cousin of Quavo.
Their first release was ‘Versace’ in 2013. Since then, the ‘Migos’ have progressed with great strides and received offers of playing gigs for consecutive 19 days and also a weeklong press junket in the New York City.
They then went on to release various individual singles. Spin.com had reported in July 2013 that when asked about their overnight success, Takeoff had said:
“Just grind for so long.”
They also released their debut studio album ‘Yung Rich Nation’ in 2015 through Quality Control Music and 300 Entertainment. Their 2016 ‘Bad and Boujee’ was a chart-topper and a hit. They are managed by Coach K.
They also often collaborate with producers such as DJ Durel, Murda Beatz, Zaytoven, Drake, R. Kelly, Gucci Mane, Busta Rhymes, and Riff Raff. Drake had even hopped up on the remix of their song ‘Versace’. Their hip-hop trio ‘Migos’ was nominated for various categories in BET Award.
In September 2017, Kanye West had said that he had signed with Migos for a management deal with his GOOD MUSIC imprint. However, the group came up with a statement that they are not affiliated with Kanye West’s label.

The drug addiction!
The Migos trio has gained a lot of recognition and appreciation. But they seemed to also have various trysts with the law due to possession of prohibited items. On 18th April 2015, the trio was invited to perform at Georgia Southern University’s Spring Concert at Hanner Fieldhouse.
The concert started at 7 pm with opening acts by the local students. This was to be followed at 9 pm by Migos’ performance. The Migos trio was supposed to present for 45 minutes. But they arrived 1.5 hours late and then performed only for 30 minutes.
The University and local police and also the local Sheriff’s office officials present on the site smelled a strong odor of marijuana from the group’s van.
After the preliminary investigation, the trio and 12 members of their group were arrested for possession of controlled substances and firearms. In 2-3 days, Takeoff, Quavo, and 6 members were released on bail while Offset and 6 others remained behind bars.
Offset had another charge levied against him which was inciting a riot within a penal facility. The charge of driving with a suspended driving license was also slapped on him in 2016. The group members were also involved in a Miami Mafia shootout.
This took place between 2 vans traveling next to each other; one of the vehicles belonged to the Migos group. Luckily, none of the members of the group were hurt, but the trio later tweeted:
“A lot of fuck niggas tried to take my life. But I keep that thang on me so you betta think twice
