Sherri Branum popular as Sherri Hill is a famous American fashion designer and businesswoman. She was born on June 12, 1949, which makes her 69 years at present.

Born in Minco, Oklahoma, USA, to parents James and Roberta Branum. She was born and raised with her five siblings in a small town in Oklahoma. Her parents owned local general stores, where Hill worked as part-time work at the family store. This was while she was at the age of eight.

Hill’s interest in fashion shined as she dressed the four mannequins in the front windows. Her dreams led to the University of Oklahoma where she studied fashion designing. Furthermore, her family opened stores in Norman and Oklahoma City.

This was the beginning of her designing career where she focused on ladies’ clothing and evening wear.

Starting own line

After her graduation, Hill worked for many manufacturers in the evening wear business. She designed for the pageant world such as Miss America, Miss USA, and Miss Universe contestants.

For 12 years, Hill designed for Jovani Fashions. With her, she helped launch the brand. To establish her own line, Hill left Jovani in 2008. Her own evening gown line is named as Sherri Hill, Inc. Expanding her fashion trends, she has a network of over 800 stores now.

She has dressed world amazing celebrities like Selena Gomez, Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Zendaya, Ariana Grande, Gabby Douglas, Fifth Harmony, Bella Thorne, Ryan Newman, etc.

Kendall Jenner and Nicole Polizzi are also a big fan of hill’s creation. Her designs are seen worn at the red carpet, charity, and social events. Furthermore, Selena Gomez also has worn the Sherri Hill brand during her concert in 2011.
