Eddy Chen received various scholarship prizes including Ronald Clifford, Paganini Prizes, Basil Jones Sonata, Owen Fletcher, and Brisbane Club Award during his time at the university.
Eddy Chen made a collaborated contract with Queensland Symphony Orchestra in 2011 and with Melbourne Symphony Orchestra in 2014.
In 2012 and 2014, he appeared as concertmaster at the Queensland Conservatorium Opera Orchestra. He even performed in specified platforms by associating with the Queensland Youth Symphony (QYS) and Australian Youth Orchestra (AYO) all over Europe and Australia.

TwoSet Violin is a comedy pair consisting of Australian Violinists, Eddy Chen and Brett Yang. Later in 2013, they started to post their cover video of pop music played on the violin on their Youtube channel. On 8 September 2016 they revealed the news of their live performance in Brisbane, Australia through, Youtube. With a less traditional format, the show was mostly violin-based. Initially, they did a street performance in Sydney and collected funds to go on a world tour targeting 11 cities from 10 counties in Europe and Asia including Frankfurt, Taipei, and Helsinki.
They conducted programs in some places of the United States including New York City, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Though they announced their next worldwide tour in October 2019, it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the new date is not revealed yet. But, the virtual world tour event was performed on 08 December 2021.
It has also a clothing line named TwoSet apparel.
