Dima had made a promise to marry Elena if he wins the Eurovision Song Contest. However, despite his great win on the show in 2008, the marriage did not happen possibly because Elena found another man.

It was said that Elena Kuletskaya had dumped Dima Bilan for the American actor, Mickey Rourke. But in the summer of 2011, Dima Bilan labeled his relationship with Elena Kuletskaya as nothing but a publicity stunt.

The hottie-‘nottie’ couple

In 2009, sexy Elena Kuletskaya was employed to teach the Russian language to American actor, Mickey Rourke for his role of Whiplash in the upcoming film ‘Iron Man 2’.

Soon this relationship reached another level and Elena and the hell-raiser Mickey Rourke was spotted together at multiple places. Mickey Rourke was twice married and divorced.

He was 57 years old at that time while Elena Kuletskaya was just 24 years old. It was said that they have gotten engaged and Mickey Rourke was getting ready for an April 2010 traditional Russian wedding with his newfound love.

A friend of Mickey Rourke told New York Post:

“They haven’t booked a venue or made any solid plans, but he wants to do it in April”

It appears that the upcoming marriage had family approval since Mickey Rourke was seen taking extraordinary care of his mother-in-law-to-be at the Bank of Wonderland in Los Angeles.

However, this marriage did not materialize and soon both parties had moved on in life. Mickey Rourke started dating Russian model and actress, Anastassija Makarenko. In the meantime, Elena Kuletskaya focused her attention on her career.

Elena’s ‘right’ man and marriage

Soon, Elena Kuletskaya started a romantic liaison with cinematographer Stanislav Romanovsky. They got engaged in November 2013 and tied the knot on 17^th August 2014 at the luxurious Chateau de Robernier castle in Provence.

In February 2015, Elena Kuletskaya was spotted with a baby bump. During the fashion week in Moscow, she had modeled for designer Igor Gulyaev and her baby abdomen was quite prominent. She delivered a healthy baby girl at one of the Russian elite hospitals.

Since Elena Kuletskaya had an Rh-negative blood group, there was a likelihood of pregnancy complications. But her pregnancy course was monitored and managed well by her obstetrician, and both mother and child were good.

An elated Elena Kuletskaya said:

“The birth went easily and naturally with a light hand and a high precision guidance of our doctor – Sergey Igorevich Arabajyan”.

The proud parents named their daughter Nika.
