It was recently revealed that Elon and Grimes have secretly welcomed their third child a son named Techno Mechanicus.

Elon Musk has expanded his family. The Tesla CEO founder, 52, and his ex-girlfriend Grimes have secretly welcomed a third child, a son named Techno Mechanicus, nicknamed ‘Tau’.

Tau’s existence has remained a secret until it was recently disclosed in a New York Times review of a new Elon Musk biography.

The book is written by journalist Walter Isaacson and is due to be released on September 12.

The exes are already parents to two, a son X Æ A-Xii, 3, and a daughter, Exa Dark, 20 months. X Æ A-Xii, whose nickname is ‘X’, was born in May 2020.

Similarly, the pair welcomed their second child a daughter, Exa Dark Sideræl Musk, via surrogate in December 2021.

The pair had already broken up by the time Y was born.

Musk and the Canadian singer ended their relationship in September 2021.

Similarly, the two kept the birth of Y private until Vanity Fair journalist Devin Gordon overheard a baby crying while interviewing Grimes in March 2022.

A month prior to Exa’s birth, Elon welcomed twins Strider and Azure with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis. The twins’ names were recently revealed days before the news of Musk’s tenth child was made public.

The billionaire is also a father to five other children twins Griffin and Vivian and triplets Damian, Saxon, and Kai, from his previous marriage.

Grimes gave an update on her third child with Elon Musk

Grimes, whose real name is Claire Elise Boucher, took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share the details of her third child with Elon Musk on Saturday, September 10.

She wrote,

“Hey, I wud prefer to not breathe any more life into this current press cycle but I want to de-escalate the narrative atm, I spoke with Shivon at length finally, which was long overdue. This wasn’t her fault, plz don’t be angry at her! We respect each other a lot and we’re excited to become friends and have the kids grow up together.”

The songwriter then apologized to journalist Walter Isaacson as she commented on Isaacson’s X post for promoting the biography and posting photos of Musk with his two children.

“I truly apologize for responding to Walter like that, As u can imagine, that was a very gut level reaction to a thing that has been very hard for me. Communication about the twins wasn’t handled super well in the past, but I now totally understand what happened and totally forgive the situation.”

“Women are so often pitted against each other. Speaking with Shivon, it’s very evident she’s an amazing human and we both just want what’s best for our kids.”

The “Crystal Ball” singer also gave insight into her newest addition, saying that she wished she could show fans “how cute little Techno is,” but she presently prefers to keep her children out of the spotlight.
