Emma Lovewell announces her engagement to longtime boyfriend Dave Clark

Emma Lovewell is committed to her boyfriend Dave Clark. She took to Instagram on Monday, October 9, to share the happy news that she and Dave took the next step in their relationship.

She shared a pair of pictures of two from their recent hike along with a sweet caption,

“We’re making it official!”

Similarly, she added a hashtag, ‘#DaveNoIg,” referencing that Clark doesn’t have an Instagram account.

She shared a cozy picture of them in the first of the series in which the Peloton star, 35, proudly flaunts her engagement ring while resting her hand on her now-fiancee’s chest.

The following slide shows a sun-kissed photo of Clark kissing Lovewell on her head. In the last of the series, she shared a stunning aerial image of trees with a scenic view.

In August 2020, Emma first featured Dave on her Facebook feed honoring him with a birthday wish.

At the time, she introduced him as a “favorite adventure partner, quarantine companion, IG photographer, best friend, and cat dad.”

After that, she shared a photo of herself with Dave on 2021 Valentine’s Day while praising him with a sweet caption,

“This is my Valentine. His name is Dae and he’s not on IG. He knows the way to my heart (food and plants) and is my support system. He’s now an expert HOme renovate (my words, not his)and the best cat dad.”

The fitness pro often posted their pictures together. They went on a trip to Italy last spring of which Lovewell gave a sneak peek on her Instagram.

She shared photos of two posing in front of the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps and showed off some of the pizza and pasta dishes they enjoyed in the Eternal City.

In May, Lovewell published her first memoir titled Live Learn Love Well: Lessons from a Life of Progress Not Perfection. She gushed about a book with PEOPLE, explaining,

“It’s really a book of stories chronicling my life, my career, and my personal life, physical and mental fitness; the whole journey that has created the person I am today, It’s more than just a prescriptive fitness book. It’s a lot of stories. Some are sad, some are heartwarming, some are funny.”
