Engagement News! Love Island’s Jonny Mitchell gets engaged to his girlfriend Danielle Zarb-Cousin!

The star of Love Island 2017 Jonny Mitchell shared some great and good news with his fans and viewers. He was dating Danielle Zarb-Cousin for less than a year and has now revealed that he is engaged to her.

Jonny Mitchell, 28 starred in Love Island last year and on ITV he had struggled to get the love of his life. He was now dating Danielle Zarb-Cousin for the past nine months and has disclosed that he has popped the question to his romantic partner during a romantic getaway.

Jonny and his brunette girlfriend Danielle were on a romantic winter break in Switzerland and he decided to propose to her there. Jonny told OK Magazine:

“I proposed at Villa Honegg hotel in Switzerland up in the mountains, as part of our Christmas road trip across Europe.
I arranged a photographer to basically hide in the bushes and capture it all with the mountains in the background. Danielle reacted as I hoped and was over the moon, and luckily said yes!
We’re both feeling amazing now, and just enjoying the rest of our time away with each other.”

Danielle also shared the news on her Instagram in which she put up a picture of her hand with the engagement ring. She wrote:

“We’re engaged!!
I get to marry my best friend @jonny_mitchell1991 I’d choose you; in a hundred lifetimes, in a hundred worlds, in any version of reality, I’d find you and I’d choose you.
Wow what a magical day. After an early morning and long drive we arrived at a beautiful hotel in the mountains in Switzerland .. and then my best friend proposed to me #imoncloudnine #loveofmylife #letscelebrate’.”

Jonny Mitchell posted pictures of himself and his new fiancee on his Instagram. He put up the picture of them together in a hot tub together and he captioned this picture:

“It sounds clichè, but I knew from the first time I met this girl that I was going to marry her.. I probably would’ve proposed to her within the first month of knowing her if it wasn’t totally weird! She’s basically the girl version of me and gets me in every way humanly possible.
She’s a beautiful, caring soul inside and out.. She’s there for me through thick and thin and puts up with all my crap.. and now she’s my fiancée and I couldn’t be happier,”

Jonny Micthell and his relationships

Jonny has attempted several affairs in the last one-two year. The Love Island star had tried to find love on the show. Jonny had struggled to seek the attention of Camilla Thurlow but was unsuccessful. He then moved on to contestant Tyla Carr but again failed. Tyla Carr began dating Ross and has welcomed her first child with him.

He then started a relationship with ex-contestant Chyna Ellis. They had a short-lived fling since the show producers and fans eliminated him from the show at around the same time.

Jonny then began dating Stephanie Pratt who has starred in Made in Chelsea. They ended their relationship in January 2018 and immediately after the split, Jonny entered the Celebrity Big Brother show.

Also know Miley Cyrus’ brother Braison Cyrus is engaged to his girlfriend whom he began dating less than a year ago!
