Erin Foster is ready to embrace her motherhood journey. The actress, 41, is pregnant with her first child with her husband Simon Tikhman.

She took to Instagram on Thursday, November 23, to share the happy news on the occasion of Thanksgiving that she and Simon have their first child on the way.

Foster shared a photo of herself flaunting her baby bump while her husband sat on the ground and looked over at her.

Similarly, she captioned the post simply writing,

“It feels like we need something positive right now, so I’d like to offer something. I’m pregnant!”

The soon-to-be dad also commented underneath the pregnancy post, penning down,

“Me too!”

Further, the 41-year-old writer and performer also revealed the sex of the unborn child during her appearance on a recent episode of her and her sister Sara Foster‘s podcast The World’s First Podcast with Erin & Sara Foster.

Foster revealed she and Simon are having a baby girl while acknowledging that they have already picked out the name for her.

In July, Erin posted a cryptic post sparking her pregnancy rumors. She shared a plane selfie of herself on her Instagram story alongside a crown emoji over her head and captioned it,

“Can you imagine how insane I’m going to be as a MOTHER!?”

After her post, many were wondering if she was pregnant. However, she made it clear in her August post, noting,

“Guys I’m not pregnant. I said WHEN!! Delete all your nice DM’s to me.”

Erin proposed to his now-pregnant wife in 2019 after a year of dating. They then walked down the aisle the same year in December in a glamorous Nashville ceremony.

The wedding ceremony took place at the Booze with Bev event in Venice, California. The soon-to-be mama gushed about her wedding to PEOPLE,

“We honestly really love being married — it’s fantasticI’m really happy with the way that I looked and the way the venue looked. I’m really happy with the ceremony. Honestly, it was my perfect wedding and I really think people had so much fun.”

The happy couple met through a mutual friend and managed to live a blissful conjugal life.
