American black rapper, Da Brat is bisexual. She had this sexuality for more than two decades but came out only in March 2020. At that time, she also revealed that she is in a romantic relationship with Jesseca Dupart who is the CEO of Kaleidoscope Hair Products. At that time, Da had put up a post on her Instagram thanking Jesseca for the lavish birthday gift of a white Bentley.

In an interview given to Variety, Da also went on to disclose why it took her so long to tell the world her true sexuality. She said:

“Both misogyny and homophobia created a culture where coming out would have been career suicide for a Black woman in hip-hop.”

Further, Da explained:

“I was fine staying quiet, but my partner is a social media mogul — that’s how she became who she is. And when you get with somebody, you have to meet in the middle. So to me, the middle was just letting everybody know: ‘Hey, she’s the one.’”

The wedding and motherhood

Da and Jesseca had been dating for a while. Though people speculated it for long, it was confirmed only in 2020. After a smooth courtship period of nearly two years after that, Da and Jesseca exchanged wedding vows at Horse Mansion in Fairburn in Georgia on 22 February 2022. 100 guests were at the wedding ceremony and included Kandi Burruss, Porsha Williams, and Eva Marcille.

Da was happy and stated:

“Everything about her made me want her to be mine forever,”

Furthermore, she added:

“And I felt like I knew it not much longer than from the day we met.”

Da had a surgery for her fibroids and later suffered a miscarriage. Subsequently, she underwent an embryo transfer procedure that resulted in a pregnancy. It was successful until term and she gave birth to a baby boy on 6 July 2023.
