Eva was born on 30 August 1982 in Seoul, South Korea. She grew up in a military background family in South Korea. Later her family migrated to the USA.

So, her nationality is American and she is of half Korean ethnicity. She is currently residing in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

In 2006, she became an anchor/Reporter for Fox Charlotte till May 2009. This time she worked for two and a half years. After she left Fox, she took a break of around six months.

Then in November 2009, she started working on WXIN TV. Here she stayed for 3 years and 1 month and left the job in November 2012.

Her experience in big news channels and her talent became her boon. She started to work in Action News(WPVI) in December 2012. It is going to be 5 years and she is still working in WPVI.
