‘A new couple alert‘! Kelly Rizzo has moved on in her life. The “Eat Travel Rock TV” host, 44, has made her relationship status public.

She is dating actor Breckin Meyer, two years after the death of her husband, Bob Saget.

The couple made their red carpet debut by walking hand-in-hand at a Janie’s Fund charity event in early February.

In an interview with E! News, Rizzo admitted that she is dating again following her husband’s death in 2022. She told the outlet,

“It took a while to get to the point where I’m like, ‘OK, I think he’d be happy with it'”

She also revealed that Saget’s three daughters Aubrey, 36, Lara, 34, and Jennifer, 31, whom he shared with his ex-wife Sherri Kramer, gave her their blessing to start her new life.

Rizzo added,

“It’s wonderful, it just meant so much to have their blessing, They’re just angled. And to have them support is so meaningful.”

For the event, Kelly opted for a high-neck leopard print dress with knee-high boots, while the Clueless alum sported an all-gray outfit and faded black denim jacket.

Just last month, Kelly honored Bob with a sweet message on his second death anniversary. They had been together for six years.

She shared a photo of Saget with a guitar and captioned it,

“2 years. Wow. Simultaneously feels like a week and an eternity, I chose this photo of Bob as not only was it the last photo he shared and one of the last texts he sent me, but it perfectly encapsulates how he would want all of us to remember him. With his guitar, on a stage, doing what he loved to do…making people laugh…making people happy.”

The message continued,

“I’m still blown away by the fact that Bob hasn’t faded from all of your hearts in the slightest. It means so very much. Thank you for allowing me to still share Bob and thank you all for continuing to keep his memory alive.”

Saget was found dead in a hotel room on 9 January 2022 in Orlando, Florida. He died from accidental head trauma, according to the medical report.

Kelly Rizzo had indicated the potential of dating again after her husband’s death

Kelly has earlier expressed her interest in dating, which is a positive step towards finding happiness once more.

In an October 2023 interview to discuss her debut on Fox’s Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, the food blogger revealed she is ready to open up her heart to love again after her late spouse’s sudden death.

When the interviewer asked if she would be able to accept a date if she was asked, she said at the time,

“I’m open to it, yes.”

“You feel guilty if you have happy moments or if you’re not feeling sad all the time. You feel guilty about that, but then I learned that’s very normal…, Now that enough time has passed, even his girls are always like: ‘That’s silly’, Heavenly Bob wants you to be happy’. Earthly Bob would’ve been like: ‘Not too happy’.”
