Ex-wife of Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes throws a birthday party to her child for her 11th birthday with not only one but three cakes

Happy birthday Suri
Katie Holmes and ex-husband Tom Cruise‘s daughter, their only child together, turned 11 on Tuesday.
The actress posted on her Instagram page a photo of a table with three small frosted cakes and also colorful party hats on it, as well as a banner with “Happy Birthday” which was spray-painted in hot pink and covered in glitter.
“A very happy birthday to my sweetie. “
says the 38-year-old actress with her daughter Suri and her ex-husband Tom.

Suri is not pictured but has been a more frequent presence in her mother’s Instagram feed in recent weeks. The actress rarely shares pics of the child, since both are often stalked by the paparazzi.
She recently posted images of the two with their family from an Easter weekend trip to Florida. Last December, Holmes uploaded photos of her and Suri celebrating her 38th birthday. They went bowling.
Katie’s thoughts for her daughter
Katie said on SiriusXM’s The Jenna Bush Hager Show (via Us Weekly),
“I thought Hillary was going to win this year, and it was such a – it just hurt so badly when she didn’t. And I know that it hurt my child so much as a 10-year-old, and it really made me think, ‘Oh we have a lot…a long way to go as women,’”
“We have to raise our girls to be very strong, not just for themselves, but to open the doors for other people.”.
“My child is the most important person to me, and her upbringing is paramount to my work right now,” Holmes told Town & Country in an interview published in its April 2017 issue
“It’s very important that I’m present and she has a stable, innocent childhood,”
She added,
“I feel so blessed to do what I do, but there’s nothing in the world better than watching your child succeed.”
Katie’s love for Suri
The Dawson’s Creek album’s posts come just days after she took Suri on a fun-filled beach vacation to celebrate her special day. Holmes shared several Instagram photos and videos from her tropical getaway with her extended family.
In one pic, Suri flashes a wide grin with Holmes and three other family members. “#family #love #gratitude,” Holmes captioned the Sunday, April 16, shot.

Happiness in child
Back in December 2015, Holmes opened up about the joy of watching her only child growing up.
“My little one is very, very generous and very sensitive. So she’s always [saying], ‘Mom, let’s give my old toys to people who need it,'”
she gushed while speaking about Suri’s interest in philanthropy during an appearance on the Today show.
“So we are always doing that.”
