Pregnant Keke Palmer shared glimpses of her baby shower celebrated late last month

Keke Palmer, who is expecting her first child with her boyfriend Darius Jackson, celebrated a grand baby shower in January 2023.

The couple hosted a “Once Upon a Time” themed baby shower to celebrate his upcoming arrival. The soon-to-be mama, 29, shared some glimpses and unseen photos from the event after weeks of their celebrations.

In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Palmer opened up about her fairytale theme baby shower, expressing,

“Right now, I feel like I’m living in a fairy tale!I’m a huge Disney fan because of how aspirational and sweet their stories are. I want to create a world like that for my baby, a world in which all things are possible.”

She then went on to reveal her favorite part of the magical event, sharing,

“My favorite thing about the shower was having my family there. I also loved the decorations, WhamBam did such a great job, and the food was fabulous, thanks to Melba’s in Harlem.”

Keke explains,

“We really wanted to use the baby shower to celebrate our families as well because we are so thankful for our village,”

How was the celebration of the Fairytale-Themed baby shower?

The baby shower was organized with the help of Coterie and Whambamevents. The fun-filled event featured plenty of fun activities including games, food, and music.

The Nope actress gushed,

Similarly, Coterie reflects on their experience,

KeKe Palmer also shared some clips of the shower exhibiting creative decor

Keke shared a video clip from the event which include multiple classic Disney movie themes, each movie seemed to have a separate room and corresponding activities.

Some of them include Toy Story, The Lion King, Bambi, and Disney’s 101 Dalmations. The Toy story room was especially cute a signboard hanging that read, “To our future and beyond.”

Similarly, guests could be seen making their own body scrubs and indulging in cotton candy and popcorn stations.

In the video caption, the actress showed her gratitude toward those people who helped her and Jackson to make their fairytale shower ensue. She wrote in the caption,

“Thank you soooo much @coterie for making this beautiful baby shower possible. And to you @whambamevents for helping bring to life this fairytale of mine,”

Palmer continued,

“From the games to the food by @melbasharlem, to the music by @djmadout and @jey.yung that kept us jamming all night. It was a Chicago, Jersey and Cali connection, a night I’ll never forget.”
“I’m really just so so happy for my family and my baby shower for me and @dvulton more than anything was about celebrating the people we love that have carried us this far!!! We know they will be so good to our baby boy.”

Adding to that, she stated,

“I wish I took more pictures!!” she added. “Everyone did such a fabulous job it was beautiful. And the party favors courtesy of @baublebar, @drbarbarasturm, @sakaralife, @coterie and hopefully I didn’t forget anyone!!!”
