Congratulations to Ben Platt and Noah Galvin who are engaged, again!
The Broadway star surprised fans with a picture of his new diamond ring after revealing that his fiance popped the question to him after their initial November engagement last year.
Sharing the exciting news on Instagram Stories on Monday, the 29-year-old actor said that his fiance proposed to him with a sapphire ring which was quite similar to the ring he gave his fiance last year.
The Pitch Perfect star shared a snap of his new bling and captioned it with a blue heart emoji,
“He proposed back,”
Platt, for his part, shared an adorable snap of their dog holding a red rose in his mouth. He captioned it, “I said yes,”
29-year-old Galvin reshared both the snaps on his IG Story and wrote, “GEORGE DID THE ASKING,”
The lovebirds then celebrated their second engagement with their closest friends and their pals even brought them a cake that read “Gay marriage is cool.”
Platt then shared a romantic snap of the two embracing while wearing party hats and a groom sash.

Platt and Galvin were co-stars and friends before starting their relationship
The two first announced their engagement in November 2022.
Ben shared a series of photos on Instagram from the special day which happened at a Brooklyn restaurant, writing,
“He agreed to hang out forever,”
Galvin wrote at the time,
“I said yeehaw and then cried for like 7 hours ,”
One snap showed a stunning floral display adorned with candles surrounding the couple and another showed a close-up snap of Galvin’s gorgeous engagement ring.
Both Ben and the Good Doctor actor played lead roles in the Broadway show Dear Evan Hansen which might have been the starting point of their friendship.
After the Tony winner left the show, Galvin took over and they became good pals for years before ultimately deciding to give it a chance as lovers.
Platt later explained to Kelly Clarkson how their romance blossomed,
“We were friends for five years, and right before the pandemic, we finally decided to really give it a shot. We kind of skated around it for a long time,”
Platt also confessed in 2021 that he’d found “a partner that I really love.”
He said that his beau “has a really unique ability to help me to … be present where I am and to make the life that’s happening day to day too wonderful to not want to be on the ground for it.”
