It’s a good thing that is no bad blood between exes Florence Pugh and Zach Braff.

The couple who announced their split in August of this year after 3 years of dating are having some friendly exchanges on Instagram.

On Thursday, the formers lovers surprised fans with their first public exchange in the comment section.

Zach told his followers about their chance to bid for a Zoom call with himself and former “Scrubs’‘ co-star Donald Aison for charity. Pugh commented:

“I’m deffo bidding on this,”

Zach, 47, jokingly said he was certain that the actress “could get this for free.”

The actor then commented “But it is a very good cause for veterans…” but has since edited the upload and disabled comments.

Though their friendliness might have made many of their fans happy, there were some who were not happy with the possible reunion.

One fan tweeted:

“I don’t want Zach and Florence to get back together.”

Another one wrote:

“Florence and Zach are clearly still on good terms which is interesting.”

The exes’ chat comes just months after the Little Women actress publicly announced their breakup on Harper Bazaar’s cover story. She told the magazine that she ”automatically gets a lumpy throat” talking about it.

In August, the 26-year-old revealed:

“We’ve been trying to do this separation without the world knowing, because it’s been a relationship that everybody has an opinion on,”

The Midsommar actress continued:

“We just felt something like this would really do us the benefit of not having millions of people telling us how happy they are that we’re not together,” she continued at the time. “So we’ve done that.”

Pugh had to defend her relationship with Braff from the beginning

In August 2018, Braff gave his review for Little Women, praising Pugh’s performance on Twitter. He wrote:

“I watched an incredible film last night that I cannot stop thinking about: ‘Lady Macbeth’ starring @Florence_Pugh,” he wrote. “Beautifully directed, shot, acted etc. It’s very upsetting, so be forewarned. Florence is a movie star.”

Pugh also responded to those criticizing the couple in an interview with Elle UK.

The actress said:

”People have no right to educate me on my private life,”
“It’s bizarre that normal folk are allowed to display such hate and opinions on a part of my life that I’m not putting out there.”
