The supermodel, 28, who is half-Palestinian, took to Instagram on Tuesday to share her thoughts on the “unjustifiable tragedy.”

Hadid told her millions of followers that ”thoughts,” “condolences,” “love & strength” are with “all” those who have been affected by the conflict, especially the “innocent” — “too many of which are children.”

The Guest in Residence founder explained that while she has “deep empathy and heartbreak for the Palestinian struggle and life under occupation”, she also feels bad for all the innocent Jewish people.

Hadid stated,

“The terrorizing of innocent people is not in alignment with & does not do any good for the ‘Free Palestine’ movement,”
”The idea that it does has fueled a painful, decades-long cycle of back&forth [sic] retaliation (which no innocent civilian, Palestinian or Israeli, deserves to be a casualty of, and helps perpetuate the false idea that being Pro-Palestine = antisemitic.”
