Gigi Hadid remembers Khai’s daddy on Father’s Day

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik ended their long-term relationship after the latter got into a heated argument with Yolanda Hadid.

The couple who welcomed their first child, Khai, in September 2020, have moved separate ways for good.

But Gigi did not forget to wish her daughter’s father on the occasion of Father’s Day.

The American supermodel honored her former One Direction member boyfriend with a sweet black and white photo of the father-daughter duo.

The supermodel, 27, took to her Instagram story to wish her father Mohammad Hadid on the occasion of Father’s Day.

The Victoria’s Secret angel shared a black and white picture of her father giving her a sweet kiss where she called him “sweet baba.”

The next picture was of Zayn and Khai drawing with markers where their faces were not shown. She referred to him as Khai’s baba.

The couple has always been very private about their daughter ever since she was born. Khai will celebrate her second birthday in September.

Ever since she was born, the couple has only shared glimpses of her without showing her face.

Zayn and Gigi still follow each other on Instagram and they seem to have a normal friendship even after their dramatic breakup.

Why did Zayn and Gigi call it quits?

Zayna and Gigi ended their six-year-long relationship after he got into an altercation with Yolanda Hadid.

At that time, a Hadid family friend said:

“Zayn and Gigi are not together right now. They are both good parents though. They co-parent. Yolanda is of course very protective of Gigi. She wants the best for her daughter and grandchild.”

While Zayn and Yolanda’s reps denied giving any comments, Gigi’s reps said:

”Gigi is solely focused on the best for Khai. She asks for privacy during this time,”

It was not the first time the couple decided to break up. They had broken up before Khai was born too but got back together again.
