Gwyneth Paltrow narrates anecdotes about her ex-boyfriends Brad Pitt and Ben Affleck on SiriusXM Radio!
The thin and delicate American beauty Gwyneth Paltrow spoke about her exes-Brad Pitt and Ben Affleck recently. She had appeared as a guest on the radio show called SiriusXM by Howard Stern.
Gwyneth and Brad Pitt
American actress Paltrow spoke about her ex Brad Pitt. She talked about the moment Brad Pitt threatened to kill Harvey Weinstein after the disgraced producer sexually harassed her in the 1990s. Harvey had asked her for a massage after he called her to his hotel suite.
Last October, Gwyneth had gone public and accused Harvey of sexually assaulting her when she was working on his movie. She was selected as the lead in the 1996 screen adaptation of Jane Austen’s novel called Emma. Before the shoot commenced, Harvey had called Gwyneth to his hotel room and placing his hands on her skirt asked her to come with him to the bedroom for a massage. She said:
“We had one instance in a hotel room where he made a pass at me, It was weird. I was alone in a room with him.”
Gwyneth was shaken totally by the incident and revealed that she informed about the incident to her then-boyfriend Brad Pitt immediately. Brad was agitated and confronted Harvey at a Hamlet Broadway opening. She also said that he had almost thrown Harvey against the wall. Gwyneth said:
“(Brad) said, ‘If you ever make her feel uncomfortable again, I’ll kill you.’ Or something like that,”
She added:
“It was so fantastic because what he did was, he leveraged his fame and power to protect me at a time when I didn’t have fame or power yet,”
Gwyneth and Ben Affleck
Gwyneth was with Ben Affleck for three years from 1997 to 2000 but the relationship was on and off. Howard Stern asked Gwyneth about her relationship with Ben Affleck. Howard asked her this question while talking about Ben. He said:
“How did you know not to marry him? You were never in love with him,”
To this, Gwyneth replied:
“It’s interesting, I think there’s certain boyfriends where you are trying to work stuff out, right? Like, you’re trying to heal certain stuff from your childhood and he was very much a lesson in that way.”
Gwyneth added:
“I’m not sure exactly what I was trying to heal in that instance, but it was…he was, you know, it was specific,”
In 2015, she told Howard that when she was dating Ben, he was not in a good place at that time. Her parents were also happy if the two did not date each other. But her parents admitted that Ben was super intelligent and would make it big in the industry.
Her current courtship
Currently, Gwyneth is in a romantic relationship with producer Brad Falchuk since 2014 when she met him on the set of Glee. There were many months in between when the media kept speculating on their relationship with no official announcement.
It was in April 2015 when the couple went public about their relationship at a birthday party. On 8 January 2018, the couple announced that they were engaged.
On the show, Gwyneth also made it clear that the couple has decided not to have children. She said:
“This is his second marriage … Neither of us wants more kids,”
She added:
“We’re on the same team,”
Gwyneth has a son Moses, 12, and a daughter Apple with her ex Chris Martin and Falchuk has a son Brody, and daughter Isabella with his ex-wife Suzanne Bukinik. He separated from her in 2013.
