Actor Brad Pitt was in Italy in Venice for the 76th annual Venice Film Festival. He looked handsome and dashing as usual.

But besides noticing his great physique, the hawk-eyed photographers and reporters discovered a new tattoo on his biceps. What does this new tattoo signify?

The famed actor of Hollywood Brad Pitt was spotted attending the annual Film Festival in Venice in Italy. Earlier this week, the dashing hunk hopped out of a water taxi.

He looked smart and in good health and physique as he made his way to the festival venue. His body was well-toned and he also posed for the cameras when he came out of the water vehicle. He had casual and cool wear on.

It was a sleeved tee matched with a pair of black pants and white sneakers. He also donned a hat and jacket which completed his look. Brad also posed for the cameras at the venue. It was here that he flexed his arm revealing his new mysterious tattoo.

Reporters and film photographers look at every aspect of a celebrity and try to find out about any new things or changes. They spy on the body of the celebrity. Hence when at the film festival venue when Brad flexed his arm, his new tattoo became visible.

The new tattoo on Brad’s biceps is sitting just next to the one that he had made for his then-loving and dear girlfriend Angelina Jolie. The couple was not married as yet. This was in the year 2014. It is a short and sweet saying which is a variation of a romantic poem by Rumi.

It reads:

“There exists a field, beyond all notions of right and wrong. I will meet you there.”

The new tattoo is a man-like figure with a shadow.

The significance of the new tattoo is not revealed. It could probably have some connection to his state of mind and struggles as he separates from his wife Angelina.

Brad is very secretive about his tattoos and their meanings. But it is believed that they have sentimental values for him. The exact number of his body inks remains not known. But the tattoos that we are aware of include a French phrase on his left forearm which reads:

“Absurdities de l’ existence.”

It means:

“Life is absurd.”

On his left side on the lower back, Brad has got inked a tattoo in Sanskrit. It is a protection tattoo for his and Angelina’s son Maddox. Angelina has a similar tattoo. On Brad’s lower back is also a scribbling by Angelina. On his left forearm is also inked Ötzi the Iceman, also known as Frozen Fritz and Similaun Man.

Also, on his lower abdomen, Brad has a tattoo of Angelina’s birth date. The tattoo is in Khmer, which is the official language of the country of Cambodia. It means 6-4-75.

On his right forearm is a tattoo of a thin and long cross which he got for the love of his whole family. It also has the initials of his family members: A for Angelina, M for Maddox, P for Pax, Z for Zahara, S for Shiloh, K for Knox, and V for Vivienne.

Brad also has the words Invictus inked on his left forearm underside which means Unconquered. It comes from a ‘William Ernest Henley’ poem.
