Who is Hue Jackson?

Hue Jackson is an American football coach. Currently, he serves as the head coach of the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League (NFL).

He is the former offensive coordinator of. the Cincinnati Bengals. Previously, he has also worked as the head coach of the Oakland Raiders.

During his early coaching career, Jackson has also served as an offensive assistant coach for several NFL teams.

Hue Jackson’s Early life, Childhood, and Education

Hue Jackson was born on October 22, 1965, in Los Angeles, California, United States. From the beginning of his childhood, he had a keen interest in football as well as in basketball.

Talking about his education, the legendary football coach attended Dorsey High School and played as a quarterback.

Later, he completed his associate degree from Glendale (CA) Community College in 1984.

Hue Jackson’s Career, Net Worth, and Awards

Hue Jackson began his coaching in 1987 at Pacific. He served there for almost three years from 1987 to 1989. Furthermore, he has also held three NFL summer coaching internships with the Los Angeles Rams, Phoenix Cardinals, and Washington Redskins.

Prior to Cincinnati Bengals, Hue Jackson also worked as the back coach under Marty Schottenheimer and Steve Spurrier in Washington Redskins for one year.

Later in 2004, the Browns head coach became the wide receivers coach for the Cincinnati Bengals for three seasons. After leaving Bengals, he moved to Atlanta Falcons and began to serve the role of an NFL offensive coordinator.

During 2010 season with Oakland Raiders, Jackson was handled as offensive coordinator in which the Raiders’ offense finished fourth in the AFC and sixth in the NFL. However, Oakland Raiders fired Jackson one season as head coach by general manager Reggie McKenzie.

On February 17, 2012, Hue Jackson returned On February 17, 2012, as an assistant defensive backs coach as well as assisting on special teams. Later on January 13, 2016, Jackson signed with the Cleveland Browns as head coach. As a head coach, he recorded his debut 20-17 win against the San Diego Chargers on December 24, 2016.

Being a successful coach of the big club, Jackson earns a decent amount of money from his profession. However, his net worth and salary are unknown.
