Jackson White confirms dating his crush and co-star Grace Van Patten

While others are only dreaming of dating their crush, Jackson White is living it.

While attending the 2022 CFDA Awards on Monday night, the actor confirmed that he is dating his Tell Me Lies co-star, Grace Van Patten. He did so by sharing a strip of photos of the duo that included a picture of them kissing.

White, 26, jokingly covered the intimate photo with a peeking face emoji on Instagram Story. But the secret was out as he and Van Patten, 25, attended the event holding hands.

For weeks, the pair teased their relationship until finally making it official.

On last month’s Dear Media’s Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, White said:

“I have such a crush on her. … I hope [us dating] happens. I don’t know,”
“Our lives are built in together. We have so much to do together.”

Jackson seemed smitten as he could not stop praising her and said:

“She’s the f–king coolest, most grounded, amazing person IRL [in real life] that you’ll ever meet,”
“It’s crazy. … She’s the best. I had a huge crush on her. … I’m obsessed with her because she’s f–king amazing.”

White has famous parents

The couple’s hit show Tell Me Lies shows the two getting into an extremely toxic relationship that is full of gaslighting, manipulation, and infidelity while the two are in college together.

White, who is the son of Married… with Children alum Katey Sagal gushed:

“[Van Patten] is 25 years old, and she runs a set like she’s been doing this for f–king 30 years. She’s so consistent and grounded and f–king good at this,”

He continued:

“I felt like I just followed her lead. … Stephen is so intense, he’s so manipulative, he’s so crazy at times that I had a hard time being that guy, and then they yell, ‘Cut!’ and then I have to be myself,”
“That was really hard for me. Grace was so good at compartmentalizing the character and then herself.”

Jackson’s parents are famous; he is the son of Katey Sagal and Jack White. They were married from 1993 to 2000 and welcomed a daughter, Sarah Grace, in 1994 and Jackson in 1996.

Apart from the hit Hulu series, White has also appeared on the small screen in SEAL Team and The Middle. The California native has also worked in movies like Mrs. Fletcher, SPF-18, and Ambulance.
