Later, he decided to teach yoga to share his inner experience. In addition, he conducted his first yoga class in 1983. Soon, he began conducting yoga classes across Karnataka and Hyderabad.

In 1994, he conducted the first program on the premises of the newly established Yoga Center called the Dhyanalinga. After years of work, it was completed in 1999.

Moreover, Jaggi Vasudev designed the 112-foot Adiyogi Shiva statue located at the Isha Yoga Center. It was inaugurated on the occasion of Mahashivaratri on 24 February 2017, by Narendra Modi.

The Isha Vidhya under the Isha Foundation aims to raise the level of education and improve literacy in rural India. Additionally, he is also the founder of Project GreenHands. It is an initiative that aims to increase the green cover in Tamil Nadu.
