Jamie and her husband, Cutter Dykstra welcomed their child Beau in August 2013. Later on, they tied the knot in January 2016, in Palm, California. Jamie says that Beau is a “showman” who loves to make people laugh.
Recently in an exclusive interview with US Weekly, she opened up about her motherhood and also gushed about the plans for baby number 2.
Moreover, she said with a laugh:
“If you ask [Beau] he says he likes it the way it is, but my husband and I are definitely thinking about expanding our family. [Cutter] is an amazing dad. He is as present as he can be and he always wants to be there. He’s down to getting on the floor, he was down to changing diapers. I couldn’t have asked for more. He’s one of the most present dads I’ve ever seen and I’m just lucky that he’s mine.”
In addition, she also talked about her son Beau. She said:
“He’s not shy. If we walk into a restaurant or any place he’s never been before he’s 10 feet ahead of me just exploring the place. He’s so energetic and full of life and he’s so curious. At this age every day their vocabulary is just exploding and he’s also in school so there’s a lot of things he’ll say to me that I didn’t teach him. He’s amazing. It’s a privilege to get to raise a kid.
As with any other mom, she is also very protective of her son. Furthermore, she told US Weekly:
“I have to make adjustments. I can’t do everything that he wants to do all the time. …And he gets it. He has moments where he gets frustrated, but he’s aware of my limitations and he’s really respectful of them 99 percent of the time. I think it’s sweet. He’s sort of become protective of me, like when I drop him off at school he’ll tell people, ‘Please wait, my mommy is slow.’ Sometimes after a long car ride I can become a little stiff.”
As she has suffered from multiple sclerosis for 15 years she needs to be stress-free. During the interview, Sigler also admitted that motherhood can be challenging. Yet, she finds ways to de-stress herself.
She meditates and also does chores at night. Recently, she has associated with Serta to help expand the importance of balancing life with wellness and maternity.
Moreover, she told the US:
“For me, de-stressing and getting rest is of utmost importance. I think we live in such an on-culture and we are at crazy levels of stress and discomfort, Creating a safe space for yourself in your bedroom — having that place to go to every night or whether its 15 minutes during the day or a good night’s sleep — it can just make a difference in your emotional, physical and your whole well-being.”

MS is a disease that affects the central nervous system and disrupts information within the brain. Despite it can lead to people being wheelchair-bound, the MS Society notes that two-thirds of people diagnosed with the disease are able to walk.
MS can affect vision, mobility, balance, and speech. There is currently no cure for the disease. Jamie has gone through it for 15 years. She opened up about it and talked with PEOPLE about it.
She said:
“I feel that it’s important for me to share that I have MS now because I think that I’m at a point in my life with my son, with my marriage — it’s a new me, and I want to live my truth. I don’t want to hold a secret where it feels like I have something to be ashamed of or I have something to hide.”
She also admitted that she was diagnosed with MS at the age of 20. She also said that at the moment she was in “denial.”
Moreover, she said:
“It was a shock. It was surprising. I had been diagnosed with Lyme disease a year before, so to get the diagnosis was confusing and also strange because I didn’t feel sick. I didn’t feel like anything was really wrong. At the time, my ideas of MS were limited.… I thought it meant wheelchair. I thought it meant your life was over.”
