Kylie confirmed her wedding to singer Jay Allen during an exclusive interview with PEOPLE. She revealed,
“With our busy schedules and hectic lifestyles, there was honestly never an ideal moment to say, ‘I do,”
“I took one week off the [Tyler Rich] tour to travel to Southwest Florida to get married and a few days later, I have to be right back in Seattle.”
The 27-year-old singer then acknowledged that they had forgotten to bring their marriage license to Florida because of the rush of their re-planning wedding. She went on to say,
“Fun fact: Yesterday was our wedding day … but we’re actually not married yet, because we forgot to get our license! We’re gonna go get married now.”
Nevertheless, the beautiful couple had to head to the courthouse for a civil ceremony and do it all over again.
