After weeks of speculation, JLo and Ben have finally revealed their wedding officiant.
The newly married couple has chosen Jay Shetty to be their wedding officiant which will last for three long days.
The former monk will officiate the wedding at Affleck’s estate in Georgia.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are kicking off their wedding festivities this weekend which will last for 3 days.

For their yet another special day, the Hollywood glamor couple has hired one of the most famous renowned speakers and life coaches, who also happens to be a former monk.

Reportedly, it was the 53-year-old singer’s idea to handpick Jay Shetty, a British-born former monk for her wedding to Ben.

Fans are excited that Jay was given the opportunity to officiate the couple’s secret Vegas wedding in July.

Shetty and Lopez share a close friendship and have worked together on several occasions.

In January 2021, the duo collaborated for an episode of Coach Conversations where they talked about culture, community, and creativity.

Jay has officiated one high-profile wedding in the past

The I’m Into You singer then appeared as a guest on Shetty’s On Purpose podcast in March 2021.

The friends chatted about life, career, and more during the episode where Lopez said:

“Everything I do, I want it to have a purpose to it. I want to remind people to own their power. Be your best self at every moment, even when the cameras are not on.”

Their friendship went from strength to strength and Jennifer even asked Jay to officiate four couples’ weddings for a promo of her Hulu movie Marry Me when she was on a press tour.

The Think Like A Monk author shared his excitement on his Instagram and wrote:

“It was seeing 4 beautiful couples take their vows and having Jennifer Lopez and @maluma as their wedding singers! Their stories and journeys brought tears to everyone’s eyes and I’m so grateful I got to be a part of it.”

Bennifer’s wedding is not the first high-profile wedding Shetty has officiated. Last September, he was the one who officiated Lily Collins and director Charlie McDowell‘s wedding in Colorado.
