Jean Todt, Michelle Yeoh‘s longtime fiance and now husband lives most of his life out of the spotlight.
The Malaysian actress and the ex-Ferrari CEO first met in 2004 in Shanghai and quickly fell in love. Just two months later, Todt popped the question to his lady love.
Since then, the couple has been there for each other through thick and thin. Todt was also there to support Yeoh for his 2023 Oscar win, where she made history by becoming the first Asian woman to win in the Best Actress category.
Most recently, the couple marked their 19-year engagement by finally tying the knot.
Ferrari Formula 1 driver Felipe Massa revealed the news on Instagram on July 27.
He shared photos from their wedding day with a caption, “Happy marriage #JeanTodt & #michelleyeoh love you so much.”
He added,
“Today after 6992 days on 27th July 2023 in Geneva, surrounded by loving family and friends, we are so happy to celebrate this special moment together!”

Jean Todt is a French citizen
Jean Todt was born on February 29, 1946, in Pierrefort, Cantal, France.
After completing high school, he went to study at the Ecole des Cadres School of Economics and Business in Paris before setting up a career in motorsports.
Todt is the former CEO of Ferrari
After getting involved in motorsports at an early age, Jean Todt started his career as a c0-driver in 1966 and won the manufacturers’ World Rally Championship in 1981.
After retiring as a co-driver, Todt was appointed Director of Racing for Peugeot, a brand he stayed with until 1993.
After that Scuderia Ferrari recruited him and he ended up serving as the CEO of Ferrari from 2004 to 2008.
Jean Todt and Michelle had a very long engagement
Jean Todt proposed to Michelle in July 2004, just two months after their first meeting.
They remained engaged for 19 years that is 6,992 days to be precise before ultimately tying the knot in an intimate ceremony in Geneva on July 27, 2023.

Over the course of nearly two-decade-long love, the pair has been very supportive of each other’s careers.
While Yeoh has been seen in the stands with Todt at various motor races, including the British Grand Prix, Jean has been equally supportive of her Hollywood career.

Jean Todt has an adult son named Nicolas Todt from his previous relationship.
Nicolas followed in his dad’s footsteps and manages major racing drivers including Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc.
Over the year, Michelle has given a glimpse of her bond with the Todt family on Instagram. In December 2020, she shared a group snap of the trio having dinner together and captioned it, “With my Todt boys and the best dinner.”
