Jeff Bezos and his new fiancee Lauren Sanchez celebrated their engagement with their close friend aboard the billionaire’s super yacht on Wednesday, Page Six reports.

The star-studded event was an intimate, fun party that was only attended by a small crowd in Positano, Italy.

Among the VIP guests were Bill Gates and his girlfriend Paula Hurd who looked happy at the party. The couple was snapped having a nice chat with a group of friends.

Rupert Murdoch’s ex-wife, American entrepreneur Wendi Murdoch also celebrated the couple. Film and TV producer Fabiola Beracasa Beckham also attended the party.

It is not sure when the Amazon co-founder and Lauren escaped the eyes of the paparazzi. However, the pair caused quite a stir aboard the Amazon CEO’s $500 million boat while having a blast in Capri, Italy.

During their outing, Bezos, 59, was photographed climbing on top of his future wife, 53, on an outdoor couch.

Ever since the business tycoon popped the question, the couple has been showing affection with one another in a happy mood.

Jeff Bezos popped the question to his ladylove with a 20-carat ring after dating the news broadcaster for over five years.

The billionaire proposed to the former media personality somewhere in Spain before they headed out to the Cannes Film Festival in the South of France.

Bezos and Sanchez’s children and previous marriages

In January, Sanchez said of her future husband, Jeff Bezos,

“He’s so happy, he inspires me every day, he makes me a better person every day; he’s the most loving human I know,”

That same month she wished him a happy birthday with a heartfelt Instagram tribute. She wrote,

“Happy birthday to the man of my dreams, who lights up my world with his laughter and kind heart,”
“You have shown me that no great love is not bravely fought for. Thank you for always being by my side and for being the most loving and supportive partner.”

Shortly after the intimate proposal, Lauren proudly showed off her engagement ring which reportedly cost around $2.5 million, during a lavish dinner date with her new fiance at La Petite Maison in Cannes, France.

Since then, Sanchez has shown off her ring while on various trips with the billionaire.

This will be Lauren’s second time walking down the aisle as she was previously married to Hollywood talent mogul Patrick Whitesell. The exes share a son and a daughter.

She also is a mom to a son with NFL player Tony Gonzalez.

Jeff Bezos, for his part, was married to Mackenzie Scott for over 26 years and shares four kids with her.
