It’s over for Jennifer Flavin and Sylvester Stallone.

The couple who were married for 25 years is ending their union.

Flavin was the one who took the first step as she filed for dissolution of marriage in Palm Beach County, Fla., on August 19.

The Hollywood’s famous couple first started dating in 1988 after they met accidentally at a Beverly Hills restaurant.

But in March 1994, the Rocky star called it quits as he was having an affair with another mother Janice Dickinson.

He even thought that he’d fathered her child but he hadn’t.

The pair, however, reunited in 1995 and tied the knot in 1997. Together they share three daughters: Sophia, 26, Sistine, 24, and Scarlet, 20. The three girls served as Miss Golden Globe in 2017.

Talking about their separation, the 75-year-old actor said:

“I love my family,”
“We are amicably and privately addressing these personal issues.”

Flavin, on the other hand, gave her own statement that read:

“I’m sad to announce that after 25 years of marriage I have filed for divorce from my husband Sylvester Stallone. While we will no longer be married, I will always cherish the more than 30-year relationship that we shared, and I know we are both committed to our beautiful daughters.”

“The marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken.”

Flavin accused her husband of hiding assets

While the exact reason for their separation is not confirmed, it is reported that along with filing for divorce, Jennifer also accused her husband of moving assets from their shared marital funds.

The 54-year-old also allegedly requested to have sole proprietorship over their Palm Beach home ahead of the divorce proceedings.

Rumors of trouble in the couple’s marriage became seemingly strong when Stallone covered the tattoo of the former model on his right bicep with a picture of his dog.

Jennifer now no longer follows her estranged husband on Instagram and recently shared a picture with their three daughters. She captioned it:

“These girls are my priority. Nothing else matters. The 4 of us forever.”

This is not Stallone’s first marriage. The actor was once married to Sasha Czack from 1974 to 1985. The former couple shares an adult son, Seargeoh, and a late son Sage, who was seen in Rocky V. He passed away of heart failure at the age of 36 in 2012.

The Expendables actor was also married to his Rocky IV co-star Brigitte Nielsen from 1985 to 1987.
