Jennifer Lopez and Rodriguez were to wed this summer but the coronavirus pandemic has pushed this wedding forward to an indefinite date.
But now the latest is that Jennifer Lopez wants to get married to her fiance Alex in Italy as soon as the pandemic ends.

Update: Jen and Alex split and she is now dating her ex-flame, Ben Affleck.

Jennifer Lopez and her fiance had arranged everything for their wedding this coming summer. But now they have to postpone it indefinitely due to the global coronavirus pandemic.

Of course, Jennifer is extremely upset. She now wants a lavish Italian marriage as soon as the pandemic ends.

An insider source revealed:

“it was all planned out and paid for. They obviously had to postpone it due to coronavirus, but J.Lo wants to marry A-Rod shortly after things go back to normal. She wants to marry him and celebrate their love in front of her family and close friends.”

Jennifer is dejected by the postponement of her wedding to her beau Alex but nothing can be done. There is no option to tackle this deadly highly virulent virus.

While on the Ellen DeGeneres show, Jennifer submitted that the viral infection did affect her wedding plans.

She said:

“The coronavirus crisis did affect [our wedding plans] a little bit,”
“So, we will see what happens now. Honestly, I really don’t know what’s going to happen now as far as dates or anything like that. We’re just kind of in a holding pattern like the rest of the world. So, again, it’s something we’re just going to have to wait and see in a few months how this all pans out.”

Now due to this likely delay in the wedding plans, Jennifer is upset. But in February 2020, she had told Oprah that what is important to her is her relationship. She had added that she has no urgency in getting married.

She had stated:

“I said, ‘If we’re going to be together for the rest of our lives, what is the rush? If that’s what we’re really going to do, if we’re really going to be partners, if we’re really going to try to build something together that we both never had or never felt like we had, which is a family with a husband and a wife, and a mother and father, and we embrace all our children. We show them it’s something that we didn’t have.”

Alex and Jennifer started a relationship in February 2017. And after coworkers years, in March 2019, Alex proposed to her and she said Yes.

And after their engagement, Jennifer wanted an urgent marriage. Talking about it, she said:

“It’s so funny because when we first got engaged, I was like, ‘Oh, we’re going to get married in a couple of months.’ Like your old thinking comes right back, like all that hopeless romantic that made me get married three times.”
