Jimmie Allen has reconciled his differences with his estranged wife Alexis Allen despite filing for divorce in April.

On Wednesday, October 4, PEOPLE confirmed that the pair, who recently welcomed their third child together, had given their marriage another chance.

“They decided to work on things together and are still together,”

The outlet reported that their split “was never fully seen through legally”.

In July, Jimmie hinted at the end of their divorce proceedings. He claimed at the time that they had put on hold their divorce proceedings so they could work out their differences as a family.

However, the couple has yet to comment on their reconciliation news.

Jimmie Allen and Alexis Allen added a new member to the family

The happy news comes just a day after the couple was blessed with their third child a baby boy named Cohen Ace James.

Cohen was born on Wednesday, September 27, 2023. He has two elder sisters, Zara James, 2, and Naomi Bettie, 3.

Further, he is also a half-brother to Aadyn, 8, from his father’s previous relationship.

In April, Jimmie and Alexis announced their pregnancy news while simultaneously revealing their separation.

In the divorce filings, they cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their divorce.

Jimmie Allen is embroiled in a legal disputes

On the same day that the couple’s divorce was announced, Jimmie was sued by his former manager.

He is charged with assault and sexual abuse after the victim claimed that he assaulted her during a work trip to Los Angeles in March 2021, while filming an episode of American Idol.

Allen has, however, denied the charges while acknowledging that their relationship was consensual. His label, BBR Music Group has since suspended him.

In May, Allen publicly apologized to Alexis for making her feel humiliated by his affair.

The “Best Shot” singer, on the other hand, has filed a countersuit against his sexual assault accusers in order to defend his reputation.

He said in the statement that his contest in going to court is to “protect my reputation and refute these claims that have caused severe damage to my family, mental health, and business.”
