Who is Gisele Bundchen’s rumored new beau, Joaquim Valente?

Gisele Bundchen is reportedly dating Joaquim Valente and is over her split from Tom Brady after being married for 13 long years.

The supermodel sparked dating rumors on Saturday after stepping out with her close friend for a dinner date.

During their most recent Costa Rica vacation, the duo together enjoyed a dinner with Bundchen’s two children- Benjamin, 12, and Vivian, 9.

The duo’s dating rumors came just a month after Gisele finalized her divorce from the NFL player after more than a decade of marital bliss.

Joaquim is a jiu-jitsu instructor by profession. He along with his brothers Pedro Valente and Gui Valente started learning jitsu from their father in their childhood days. Now, the brothers teach at the Valente Brothers facility.

The brothers’ website reads:

“At the tender age of 2, Pedro, Gui and Joaquim were already taking private lessons from Grandmaster Hélio Gracie,”
“Growing up, the Valente brothers trained daily at the Gracie Academy in Rio de Janeiro.”

While Pedro started taking classes in Miami in 1993, Joaquim was still living in Brazil at the time “work[ing] with Grandmaster Hélio directly and provid[ing] Pedro and Gui with valuable information.”

He later moved to the US in 2007.

Valente’s LinkedIn page shows that he started studying at Barry University in 2007. Four years later, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in criminology. He attended K-12 schooling in Rio de Janeiro from 1990 to 2007.

We exactly do not know Joaquim’s exact age but sources say he’s in his early 30s. He celebrated his birthday on November 6.

After moving to Florida from Brazil to study at his desired university, he has never left the state for any other place.

The athlete teaches at the Valente Brothers’ headquarters in Miami Beach alongside his family members.

This is not the first time, Valente has been linked to Bundchen. In 2021, he and his brothers appeared alongside Gisele for Dust Magazine.

There the model gave an insight into one of her training sessions on Instagram.

The model captioned the athletic post:

“I believe the more tools we have in our toolbox the better,”
“I feel stronger, more confidence and empowered since I started practicing self-defense. I feel it’s an important skill for all, but specially for us women.

At the time, Brady joked in the comment section:

Valente is very family oriented and is fond of his family members. In 2018, he dedicated a post to his father that read:

“Today the greatest man was born,”
“My best friend, mentor and father. Thank you for always being by my side. So many great memories.”

Gisele first met him when she enrolled her son to learn the sport. Her daughter also later joined and Gisele herself later joined in to learn the art.

It is reported that Valente travels with the family if the kids are out of town because they are homeschooled.
