Jodie Turner-Smith and Joshua Jackson are no longer a married couple.

According to PEOPLE, the Queen & Slim actress, 37, filed for divorce from her husband Joshua after more than three years of marriage.

The case was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court.

The divorce filing came as a shock to many as the couple had just spent early September in New York City celebrating Josie’s 37th birthday together.

The two were since spotted together at several events. In early September, the now-former couple attended J.Crew’s New York Fashion Week party at Pier 17.

Turner-Smith wore a flapper-inspired sequin gown to the party, while her spouse sported a classic navy suit with sneakers.

A few days later, they were spotted together at the launch of Lotus’ Emeya, the fastest fully electric hyper grand tourer luxury vehicle.

For the event, Turner-Smith opted for a body-hugging pink Mach & Mach minidress with a teeny-tiny bow detail. Similarly, her appearance is made elegant by a pair of futuristic sunglasses.

Jackson, on the other hand, wore a formal dress donning a neutral-toned suit.

The two seemed to share a good bond until last week when Turner-Smith made a solo appearance at the Albie Awards hosted by George Clooney.

However, Jodie and Joshua have yet to comment on their divorce news.

Jodie and Joshua met for the first time at Usher’s 40th birthday party in 2018. Shortly after the two began dating and eventually wed in December 2019.

They are already a parent to a 3-year-old daughter Janie. A year after their wedding, the couple had their daughter Janie.

In a 2022 Forbes interview, the Murder Mystery 2 actress admitted that she fell in love with her husband in the early years due to feeling loved and supported by him.

“I had never been with anyone who I thought was wanting to lift me up the way that I felt that he was lifting me up, That is one of my favorite things about him.”

Similarly, Jackon appeared on Andy Cohen’s show Watch What Happens Live this past May and said that he knew Turner-Smith was “the one” when she “walked into the room looking like that.”
