Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt are all set to tie the knot in September this year. The Bachelor in Paradise couple has already fixed a wedding date and venue.

Joe and Serena earlier legally married on October 27, 2022, in a surprise New York City courthouse ceremony. This time the couple is hosting a grand wedding ceremony in Charleston South Carolina.

While speaking to Us Weekly, the 37-year-old tv personality gushed about his upcoming wedding while promoting the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast with his soon-to-be bride, Serena Pitt.

He told the outlet,

“Why Charleston, South Carolina? We just kind of randomly picked the place. But it’s beautiful, And we really fell in love with our venue as soon as we walked in.”

While discussing the wedding attires, Joe Amabile acknowledges that he hasn’t yet selected his tux for the special day. He said,

“I have to go get one of those,”

On the other hand, Pitt has several looks planned for the wedding weekend. She revealed,

“I have a dress for our rehearsal dinner and a dress for our welcome party. I’ve shown [Joe] those two because keeping everything a secret is just so hard. And also we’re trying to coordinate what we’re wearing and stuff. I got excited and showed him those dresses.”

She added,

“I have two dresses for the wedding — and that’s kind of all I’ll tease for that because it’s gonna be a surprise,”

How long have Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile been together?

Serena and Joe began dating in 2021 after being introduced in season 7 of the reality tv series, Bachelor in Paradise. The pair instantly connect and get engaged during the finale.

It was love at first sight for Pitt as she shared she was interested in Amabile from the beginning in an interview on the Talking It Out with Bachelor Nation Podcast. She shared,

“I really thought it was endearing because I was like, despite this environment where you almost feel pressure to have this perfect persona of doing the right thing, saying the right thing, and looking great, he’s just sitting there, acknowledging his awkwardness, he’s sweating, he’s being open with me,”

After the show wrapped, the couple had a long-distance relationship for months as Amabile was living in Chicago and Pitt was in Toronto at the time.

Ultimately, they later moved in together in New York City.

In March 2022, Joe Amabile shared that he and Pitt would be moving in together on his podcast, Click Bait, revealing,

“I can’t wait to move in with Serena so we just have one place because going back and forth between our two places has been pretty rough,”
“We are moving to New York. My business is still in Chicago, so I’ll be back and forth, but we’re moving to New York.”

On August 25, 2022, the couple hosted their engagement party in Toronto after almost a year of their on-screen proposal. Pitt told PEOPLE at the time,

“I think my parents originally brought the idea to us for an engagement party, just because we obviously had an unconventional engagement. We got engaged and it was a secret for a period of time. So this was a nice idea to bring some of our family and close friends together to celebrate a whole year later.”

Two months later, they got a court marriage at City Hall in New York City.
