Their engagement news also came as a surprise in December 2017

Jordan Spieth and Annie Verret welcomed their first child together. On 18th November 2021, Jordan announced the arrival of his and his wife Annie Verret’s first baby. His son Sammy Spieth was born on 14th November.

He said,

“Sammy Spieth born 11/14 Mama and baby doing great! Feeling blessed!”

Likewise, he shared the picture of the baby’s finger holding Annie’s pinky finger. Annie first announced the pregnancy news in early September when she accompanied her husband to the Tour Championship at the East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta.

Jordan said,

“We weren’t like hiding it or anything like that, it was just more private life. Yeah, very excited. She feels great, that’s the No. 1 priority and everything’s going smoothly.”

Likewise, the couple has been together since high school but kept their relationship private for a long time. Also, they did not disclose the pregnancy news.

Their engagement news also came as a surprise as in December 2017, the Golf Digest Twitter account announced the engagement. The couple walked down the aisle on 24th November 2018.
