Congratulations to Josephine Skriver and her husband Alexander DeLeon who welcomed their first child together, a baby girl, on Thursday.

In their joint Instagram post, the new parents shared a black and white photo where they held their newborn daughter’s tiny hand.

The ecstatic couple also showed their baby’s face and revealed her name – Aurora James.

Fans congratulated the couple on their baby with one writing,

”OMG congrats you guys. God bless your family.”

A second one wrote,

”Congratulations you two. Love you both.”

A third admirer wrote,

”Congratulations Josephine and welcome to the world little one.”

The Victoria’s Secret model, 30, and DeLeon, 34, started dating in 2013. Five years later, the Cab frontman proposed to his lady love.

In the post she shared in November 2018, Skriver wrote,

“I SAID HELL-FREAKIN’-YES!!!! I’M ENGAGED,”
“I have never been more sure about anything in my life.”

She continued at the time,

“You are my biggest adventure,”
“My fairytale come true. My soulmate. My best friend.”

Josephine Skriver was 6 months pregnant in May

The couple then said I DO in April 2022 in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. In May of the following year, the two announced that they were starting a family.

The then-pregnant star shared a series of snaps of her baby bump with many of her fellow model pals offering their congratulations.

Sara Sampaio gushed,

“The secrets out ..Im so happy for you 2,” with many heart emojis.

Irina Shayk wrote, “So excited!!! Yay!!! Love you both!”

That same month, Skriver confirmed that she was 6 months pregnant.

She opened up about her own family dynamics in 2015, telling i-D magazine that she was an IVF kid.

She explained at the time,

“In Denmark, in ’92, there was this newsletter for the whole LGBTQ community and my mom just put an ad in there and was like, ‘I want to bring a kid into this world. Does anyone want to be part of that?’”

The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model continued,

“She got a few replies and the first one actually turned out to be my dad,”

She also noted that the “concept of family … is a group of people bound by love.”
