Katy Perry is not afraid to publicly show her love for her daughter, Daisy Dove.

During the Grammy winner’s final part of her Las Vegas residency Play, Katy and Orlando Bloom‘s 3-year-old daughter made her first public appearance onscreen during a part of the evening performance on Saturday.

As the Firework hitmaker, 39, was preparing to sing her 2008 hit song Hot n Cold, she took a pause and gave a shoutout to her baby girl, whom she gave birth to in August 2020.

In a fan-captured video shared on Twitter, Perry can be heard saying,

“Daisy! I love you so much,”
“You’re my best friend, I’m so glad you’re here.”

The doting mom continued,

“I’m gonna sing this next song — I think you know it?”

For the fun night, the kid was dressed in a Minnie Mouse costume in the audience.

At one point, as the Roar hitmaker was gearing up to close her final Vegas residency performance, she gave a shoutout to her audience and her daughter.

One video on X shared by an audience showed that the singer also honored her fiance, Bloom, 46, for being “an incredible support system” and “an amazing father.”

She then said of her daughter, “I created this show after the birth of my daughter, Daisy Dove.”

The Teenage Dream songstress continued,

“When I met her, it was like all the love I was ever searching for finally showed up. She made me whole, and she healed me, and she showed me how to play again,”
“So this show is for everyone’s inner child and for the hope that maybe if we could all see life through the eyes of a child, we would be free.”

Daisy accompanied Katy throughout her Vegas show

Fans also snapped footage of Orlando and Daisy dancing to the beats during the show, when Katy performed her hit item, Chained to the Rhythm.

Perry surprised fans with her pregnancy in the music video for her song Never Worn White, which came out on March 5, 2020.

She and Bloom then partnered with UNICEF to announce the arrival of their baby girl months later. They shared a black-and-white photo of the new parents holding their newborn’s hand.

Just last year, Perry told People that Dove is a complete mix of both her mom and dad. She said,

“Daisy is great. She is a combination of both me and her father, which we are fearless with lots of chutzpah and just big characters. So the combination of us both is definitely coming out.”
”It’s amazing to see everything new again through a toddler’s eyes,”

Katy also revealed that Daisy was a part of her Vegas touring schedule, saying,

“Daisy’s with me all the time, and she loves seeing Mama get ready and turn into the character. And I get to give bath time between 6:00 and 7:00. It’s a great routine. I thrive on routine.”
