Orlando Bloom was born on January 13, 1977, in Canterbury, England, where he grew up with his sister, Samantha. Bloom was brought up in the Church of England.

Before he has his classes completed and had his graduation, he cast in Peter Jackson’s adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien’s fantasy trilogy, The Lord of the Rings. In 2008 he was seen performing a small role in the British film An Education. Also in 2009, he has his more success appearing in different hits including New York, I Love You, which contained 12 short films in one. He then appeared in The Three Musketeers released in 2011. Bloom’role as Legolas in parts two and three of The Hobbit was appreciated by all. 

Bloom’s reprised as Romeo in Romeo and Juliet in August 2013 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre.  Bloom was giving one to one hit films with his outstanding roles and by his this success The New York Times theatre critic Ben Brantley honored Bloom’s performance as the first-rate Broadway debut in the title role.

In October 2011, Bloom stated that he would like to return for a fifth Pirates of the Caribbean film. Bloom did reprise his character, Will Turner, in a supporting role in the fifth film, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, which was released in May 2017.
