Kim Kardashian’s 2023 Met Gala reminds fans of her Playboy cover

Kim Kardashian rocked the 2023 Met Gala in a pearl-filled Schiaparelli dress that reminded fans of something from the past.

The internet users then compared her look to a different, controversial moment for her 2007 Playboy cover.

Fans recalled the infamous shoot featured on a Season 1 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians where the reality star could be seen sporting only a few strands of pearls and nothing else.

While the look is nothing like that of the past, fans couldn’t help but make comparisons between the two.

One TikTok user wrote,

Kim reunited with Pete at the Met

Kardashian also noted that some of the pearls dropped on the carpet and her daughter helped by picking them up for her.

Kim also made headlines at the Met by reuniting with her ex Pete Davidson 9 months after their split.

The couple who called it quits in August 2022 were seen laughing and chatting with singer Usher.

Last year, the duo made their red carpet debut at the star-studded event and even shared a sweet smooch as they walked the stairs of the museum.

Davidson looked casual in a Fendi T-shirt, leather pants, and a trench coat and was engaged in a deep conversation with the mother of four.
