Happy married life! Lana Del Rey has entered a new chapter of her life by marrying her boyfriend, Jeremy Dufrene. The couple exchanged vows on Thursday, September 26, 2024. Their wedding occurred at a public bayou in Des Allemandes, Louisiana, where Dufrene is the captain of Arthur’s Airboat Tours.

Similarly, the couple obtained a marriage license three days before their wedding on September 23 from the Lafourche Parish Clerk of Court in Louisiana, as confirmed by PEOPLE. They had a 30-day window to marry after applying for the license.

The singer, who is 39 years old, wore a beautiful white gown that reached the floor. The gown had a ruffled neckline Similarly, she tied half of her hair back with a light blue ribbon. The rest of her hair fell in curls over her left shoulder. Meanwhile, Dufrene looked dapper in a dark blue suit. He paired the suit with a white shirt and a pair of brown shoes.

Del Rey’s father, Robert Grant, walked her down the aisle, and her siblings, Caroline Grant and Charlie Hill-Grant, were also present at the ceremony. In several photos and a video, Lana was seen walking hand-in-hand with her now-husband, Jeremy.

The ceremony was organized in outdoor areas. Several white tents were set up by the watersides. Inside these tents, chairs, and tables were arranged in rows facing one end. Other tables and chairs were placed on the grass and under another tent, likely for a reception dinner. Nearby, a boat was moored, decorated with greenery and white flowers, for Del Rey and Dufrene’s wedding.

Who is Jeremy Dufrene?

Jeremy Dufrene is the captain of an airboat tour company. He guides tourists through swamps and marshes, providing close encounters with local wildlife. Tourists can see alligators, herons, egrets, and over 300 species of birds during these tours.

Before becoming a captain, Dufrene worked at a chemical plant for seven days a week. He decided to leave that job to pursue his passion for guiding tours and obtained his captain’s license. He feels that being a captain is a “great fit” for him.
