Philippines beauty Laura Lehmann has some good news to share with her fans.
She has taken her relationship with player Von Pessumal to the next level.
The two are engaged and shared the joyous news with their social media followers.

Update 2022: Laura Lehmann and Von Pessumal are now a married couple. The lovely couple quietly got married in an intimate wedding ceremony in around May 2021.

Miss World Philippines 2017 and the host Laura Lehmann shared with her social media fans some important news on her personal life. She put up a photo of the two and captioned it simply:

“Yes. May 3. 2020,”

Her boyfriend-turned-fiance is Von Pessumal. He is San Miguel Beerman player. He top posted a photo of the two on his Instagram.

And he wrote below:

“Lockdowned for life @iamlauralehmann,”

He followed it with a ring and a laughing emoji.

The relationship timeline of the couple

Von and Laura met during their undergraduate days. At that time, Von was playing for Ateneo Blue Eagles while Laura was serving as the university’s courtside reporter.

This was during Seasons 77 and 78 of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). This gave the two an opportunity to meet each other and also know about one another.

Soon, the couple started dating and now have been in a relationship for the past five years. They now decided to change their relationship status and Von proposed to Laura at the wedding and she said Yes.

About Laura Lehmann

Laura Victoria Lehmann is a Filipino model, TV host, and beauty pageant titleholder. She grew up in Manila and her mother is a single mother. She is of mixed descent, Swiss, Spanish, and Filipino.

Laura is aged 25 and attended International School Manila. Earlier she was at Beacon International School. She graduated from Assumption College San Lorenzo.

She also studied at Occidental College but completed her studies at Ateneo de Manila University. Young Laura used to play softball during her college days.

Besides being a courtside reporter for Ateneo Blue Eagles, she also served on a similar post in the Shakey’s V-League in the year 2015.

Laura was the host of Upfront at the USA show telecast in ABS-CBN Sports and Action. Additionally, she hosted Listed in Lifestyle. And in 2018, she signed a contract with GMA Network.

She has been part of several beauty pageants. She took part in Binibining Pilipinas 2014 on 30 March 2014 and was hailed the 1st runner-up. And on 3 September 2017, she became Miss World Philippines 2017. The winner of the pageant was Catriona Gray.

She represented the Philippines at the Miss World 2017 pageant which was held in Sanya in China. She was on the Top 40 list of contestants. Later, though she did not win the main title on the show, she got the award for Beauty with a Purpose. She has also acted in two films in 2019.
