Recently, the two welcomes a second child together named Baker Scott. The name of their first child is Carter Graham

Leah Cohen, 26, and her husband Ben Byruch recently added a new member to their family.

The restauranteurs Leah and Ben confirmed to People last year that they were expecting another baby in September. The pair told People,

“We are so excited; we have been wanting another baby for a while and always knew we would like to have two relatively close in age,”

The couple who are already parents to their two-year-old son Carter Graham welcomed another son on Tuesday, February 22. The newborn baby arrived at 8:40 a.m., weighing 7lbs., 12 oz.

He was named Baker Scott in honor of both Cohen and Byruch’s father, both of whom recently passed away. Baker is an homage to Leah’s father Bill whereas Scott is honoring Ben’s father whose middle name was Scott.

Leah took to Instagram to announce the birth of her second son, she reposted a People-exclusive photo of her snuggling up with the newborn baby. She also captioned the photo along with some charming emojis.

She wrote,

“Welcome to our newest little Baker Scott Byruch born 2.22.22. You make our home complete,”

After the posts, her comment section has been flooded with congratulatory messages. Fellow Chef Capon wrote,

“Congrats and Mazel Tov! Call me crazy but should have named him DEUCE!!”

Similarly, chef Anne Burrell wrote, “Just BEAUTIFUL!!! Well done Mom & Dad!!!”. Fans also commented, “Omggg what a cutie” and “Welcome to the world precious Baker!!”

While speaking to PEOPLE, Cohen told that life will significantly change, especially for little Carter as his parents return to work full-time. He has to adjust with his little brother and she concludes by saying,

“But I know he is going to do great. He is a very calm, easy-going child and I am excited to see him become a big brother.”

Ben and Leah are the owners of a Filipino-Thai restaurant named New York City eatery Pig & Khao and Piggyback Bar in New York. They opened a restaurant inspired by Cohen’s parents and their love of food. Leah also participated in a reality show in the 5th season of Top Chef in 2008-2009.

She didn’t make it to the top but placed in the sixth position. After enjoying a few months of motherhood at home, Cohen is set to appear in her newest project called Great American Recipe, which is set to debut on June 24 on PBS.
