It was in the summer of 2012 that Spinazzola made up to senior football, with loan spells in Serie B at Empoli, Lanciano, and back at his first club, Siena. And then on 11 August 2014, he joined Atalanta.

He made his debut by scoring the last goal and resulting in 2-0 in the match against Pisa in Coppa Italia. Atalanta then has a two-year loan arrangement with him.

Taking about the 2016 and 2017 campaigns, he firmly established himself in Serie A, making 57 appearances for the club.

He was one of the key players in the Orobici’s fourth place. Spending two years on loan with Atlanta he returned to Juventus in 2018 summer.

Spinazzola debuted in Juventus in the win-over match in the Coppa Italia on 12 January 2019. He made his debut for the club in January 2019  in the club’s -20 victory over Bologna in the Coppa Italia.
